Dental Implant Treatment Planning and Freehand Implant Placement (3-Day Course)

Tuition: $4500 CAD
This course is intended to provide dentists with the knowledge and training to place dental implants in their offices. This course can be taken individually or as a feature of mini implant residency. The two days instructional lecture will cover the fundamentals of implant dentistry, implant treatment planning, and implant surgical procedures. It includes hands-on on incision designs, flap management, closures, and implant placement. We will also have an in-depth discussion of the Straumann implant system and surgical techniques.
On Day 3, the participants will perform freehand implant placement surgery on their own patients. Prior to the participant’s live surgery, there will be a case assessment and a step-by-step preparation for the participant’s live surgery. The group discussion will allow the participants to learn from each other’s cases and offer clinical suggestions. There will be a post-operative group discussion which will allow the participants to communicate their opinions and share their experience.

- Anatomical Consideration and Interpretation of Diagnostic Imaging (CBCT)
- Implant Prosthetic Treatment Planning
- Implant Positioning and Freehand Implant Placement (Hands-on)
- Flap Design and Closure (Hands-on)

– Course tuition is refundable if cancellation is requested at least one month prior to the course date, less a $500 CAD non-refundable registration fee.
– Cancellations made within one month of the course date are non-refundable.
